Our journey began in 2020 with a bold yet simple mission: to empower food retailers and producers to navigate the complexities of sustainability, health, and quality.

With the food system responsible for nearly a third of global greenhouse gas emissions and diets fueling the rise of chronic disease worldwide, our founders knew there had to be a better way to produce, choose, and eat food.
Yet, many food companies lack access to the right data and tools to make informed decisions. With that insight, FoodFacts was born.
