Welcome to FoodFacts’ breakfast seminar “Product Development as a Driver in the Sustainability Journey”, which we’re organizing for changemakers in the food industry on Friday, November 21, at Norrsken in Stockholm.
Around 80% of a food company’s climate impact comes from its products – yet many lack the tools and data to work on sustainability and health impact at the product level. The result? An “impact gap” between company goals and product-level decisions. During the morning, we’ll explore how to close this gap – and how the FoodFacts Hub platform (developed with support from Vinnova) turns product data into insights that drive more sustainable product portfolios.
On stage:
Victoria Voss, Head of Sustainability, and Maria Tornell, Head of Innovation, at Kavli Sverige, on how Kavli has decided to work systematically on the sustainability and health impact of their product development.
Fredrik Moberg, Director at Albaeco and Researcher and Communications Advisor at Stockholm Resilience Centre, shares insights from the FoodFacts Hub expert group on how to identify the most meaningful data points to track from an impact perspective — and how to ensure they are truly measurable.
Alexandra Ferreira, CEO at FoodFacts, on how to close the ‘impact gap’ and how FoodFacts Hub can empower teams working with products (Product Development, Marketing, Purchasing).
When? Friday 21st November, 08.00-09.30
Where? Norrsken House, Birger Jarlsgatan 57C, Stockholm, in the room ”Moon”.
You can also attend the event digitally. The event will be held in Swedish.
